EEBA is delighted to inform its Members of the opportunity to obtain online access to the recently produced “Guide to the quality and safety of tissues and cells for human application (2nd Edition)”, published by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & Health Care (EDQM) at the Council of Europe.
EEBA urges Members to have a look at this important publication which is “dedicated towards the common goal of increasing the safety, efficacy and quality of donation of tissues and cells, as well as the testing, processing and storage for clinical application of tissues and cells” and, it is envisaged, will help “constitute a common European standard, based on the long-standing expertise and knowledge of the EDQM”.
