EEBA Statement of Solidarity with Ukraine
At the recent EEBA Business Meeting on 5 March 2022, EEBA Members expressed their sympathy and support for the people of Ukraine and, in particular, for colleagues working in the fields of human ocular tissue and cell banking and transplantation. To this end, they undersigned the “EEBA Statement of Solidarity with Ukraine” (proposed by the EEBA President and EEBA Committee) and agreed to the making of a financial contribution to the International Red Cross for their humanitarian crisis work in Ukraine. In addition, they were supportive of assigning preference to applications from Ukraine and neighbouring countries for grants disbursed through the EEBA’s funding initiatives.
